Our Beginnings

Back in 2016, successful en-bloc property pioneer, Mr K Tan brought together a team of respected individuals from the local real estate scene to set up a property management company. 

Led by industry veterans, the company saw positive growth over the past four years, achieving more than RM500 million in sales.  

The Way Forward

PropAsia seeks to extend its sphere of influence beyond the borders of its home country, Malaysia to other strategic locations within the region. 

Fuelled by a young, energetic and ambitious team, the company also aims to continuously take on new challenges and expand its portfolio in the local Malaysian market.

Managing Director

Managing Director, K Tan is the founder of PropAsia and has over 6 years of experience in the real estate industry. 

Having achieved great success even from his initial days as a property agent, he now seeks to impart the wisdom and skills he has gained to those under his leadership.

He believes that building strong business relationships is the key to achieving profitable outcomes.

K Tan is also well versed in the field of digital multimedia and publishing, having previously held several leadership roles in this area.

His past accomplishments here include being responsible for setting up a media company and a renowned high traffic website.

Prior to that, he was also an Executive Director in three subsidiaries of a public listed publication company.

K Tan was a digital media graduate of Multimedia University.

GARY TAN

Head of Sales

Head of Sales, Gary Tan has been a high achiever, even from the early days of his profession. 

Starting off as a mortgage banker, he eventually decided to further his career in the real estate industry due to his keen interest in the field. 

Gary’s work ethic is characterised by humility, self discipline, diligence and teachability. It is these same virtues that he brings to the table as he leads the team at PropAsia. 

He believes that no matter what background a person may come from, he or she has the potential to learn and grow, and can eventually achieve great success. 

Gary was a banking and finance graduate of Tunku Abdul Rahman University College.
